Meet Paul

Paul Xiong is a community leader, former law enforcement officer, and advocate dedicated to strengthening Minnesota families and communities.

Paul recently stepped down as Chairman of the Hmong 18 Council, an organization representing Hmong communities across Minnesota, in order to run for Congress.

In that role, Paul worked with local mayors, state senators, state representatives, and the Governor to address community concerns, support economic opportunity, and strengthen partnerships across the state.

Paul has helped support individuals and families starting small businesses, helping create economic opportunity and financial independence.

He also helped lead efforts to raise $3.3 million to build the Hmong Community Center, creating a place where families can connect, learn, and grow.

Paul believes leadership should be guided by respect for every community, responsibility in public service, and delivering real results for the people.
